The art of the trailer is the art of temptation; it’s playing hard to get -– it’s making the viewer want more. Unfortunately, the trend in trailers has turned teases into Cliffs Notes -- summaries of the film full of spoiler alerts that provide the whole meal as opposed to an alluring appetizer, which in turn makes the movie's success as short as the trailer should have been.
This blog will evaluate trailers, rank them and also predict a film's success based on its trailer.
